The largest Alphabet company engaged Hackworks to help them connect with their enterprise clients in a more in-depth way, help them understand the capabilities of their Cloud Platform, and to build deeper relationships between the client and the Alphabet Company’s team of engineers.
Capital One: Gift the Code
The Gift the Code hackathon is a Capital One Canada initiative to provide local charities with a tech boost in a creative and innovative manner. With Hackworks’ help, Capital One has connected with the tech community and has created a successful recruiting pipeline of developers, data scientists, and product designers.
Cisco was looking to identify up-and-coming tech talent for future co-op and full-time opportunities. So, they invited computer science and engineering students to Swim with the Big Fish, and work out of their cutting-edge North American Innovation Centre for 48 hours surrounded by their IoT technologies and prototypes.
The Elevate team, working with founding partner TD, approached Hackworks to help create Toronto’s biggest hackathon. Over a 48-hour hackathon at MaRS, more than 500 hackers worked tirelessly rallying behind one theme: How can we use data and technology to make Toronto a more inclusive, safe and vibrant city in which to live and work.
Scotiabank Hack IT
Over a weekend in January, Scotiabank and Hackworks gathered the brightest budding technology and finance entrepreneurs to participate in the Scotiabank Hack IT: Debt Challenge. Over 100 coders, digital artists, and FinTech enthusiasts came together and built solutions that would help Canadians better manage their debt.
TD Tech Jam
Together with TD, we designed a non-technical, digitally inspired hackathon that empowers employees with the knowledge and opportunity to imagine and develop the next digital solution to better service clients.
Oxford Global Hackathon
As a group passionate about innovation in construction, architecture and building design, they invited 400 of the best minds to gather in 4 cities around the world to develop solutions for some of the most pressing challenges in the sector today.
